Tecnoplast s.r.l. was established in 1959 as a manufacturer of injection and compression mouldings for motorcycles and agricultural machines.

Responding to the surge in innovation that extended the industrial use of polymers in the 1960s, company founder Claudio Bordignon seized the opportunity to develop Tecnoplast into a successful and solid business.

Soon after production commenced, Tecnoplast initiated its own refinement of the relevant moulding procedures. It focused first on thermosetting plastics before turning its attention to the injection moulding of thermoplastics.
Within a very short time, the company built a strong reputation in other fields as well.

As it expanded production in the agricultural machinery segment, Tecnoplast also began to gather experience relating to applications requiring elevated tribological properties.

It enjoyed much success with products for cableways, industrial conveyors, electrical household appliances and the automotive sector, as well as for electromechanical uses in both the consumer and the industrial segments.

With the passage of time, the company has extended its expertise to embrace other sectors, including pumps, labellers, food processors, domestic and industrial automation, ski plates, lighting and automotive.

In view of the market's increasing demand for excellence and precision, Tecnoplast initiated a technology development programme in order to satisfy emerging aspirations relating to engineering, quality, logistics and production management.
